has been remodeled for your viewing pleasure! :)
Your source for Mu*news, articles and reviews is now on it's new platform, and is available today!
All the content from the old site is still accessible under familiar navigation, and the old forums will be available in the next few weeks, after they are converted to an easy to view format. Feel free to stop by, settle in, refresh your memory with our old, excellent content, and start submitting new editorials, articles, links and reviews - which we'll now accept from anyone who wishes to submit one, not just review staff!!
The site now offers themes for your viewing pleasure, and there are several to choose from - view Electricsoup your way! There's lots of great new features that the site has as well, including a much more integrated feel, easier navigation, and much much more timely review and submission of articles and information!
So stop by today, and help keep our Mu*Community strong!

Almost ready for the big move!
The new page is up and running, configured and almost ready to go! By switching to a new hosting company, it gives Electricsoup more room to grow, in terms of features and functionaly, and saves over $120/year - most of our 'ad space' is done on a trade level - very few of our ads are purchased ones (but that doesn't mean you can't!) :) Ads is one of the things that we'll have to figure out how to do anew on the new site, so if you've got opinions on that, feel free to start letting us know now!
If you're interested in becoming an early adopter while we work on setting the last of the site up (transitioning the old forums as an archive), let me know by messaging me on the site, leaving a comment to this post, or emailing me at sally at electricsoup.net!

Outage - Boards are back up!
Just a quick note if you noticed (as many of you did, thank you for the emails, pages, etc!!) - the boards
were down for a brief period, but they're now back up and accessable.
In the near future, we're working on moving Electricsoup.net
to a content management system, which will allow for easier submission (and approval) of content with a small staff, as well as a better user interface for you! Stay tuned!

Even if it is from me It's something that had been stewing in my head for a while, and I'd love to hear similar or differences of opinions on the matter. Also, just as a reminder, we're still always looking for content from you - members of the MU* community! If you have any content you'd like to submit, feel free to contact me via the boards, my email (listed under my bio and under the board profile information) or contact one of the specific areas via their addresses on their pages.

It's Friday at Electricsoup.net too :)
Which by itself, in actuality, means little. :)
However, we've got active boards today and this week, and many new topics both community building, and directly related to MU*ing. Also, we've got new reviews of games on their way, and a new article on building that should be available inside of a week!
Hope to see you around soon! :) Current Mood: working

I is dumb :)
The snail mail for the domain name goes to an old address.
As such, I did not get the notice that it was to expire.
Thus, it expired. Oops :)
It should be back in 12-24 hours. I apologize for the inconvience! Current Mood: busy

Last Poster Fixed on Front Page
There was a bug in the Recent Posts links on the front page of the site that didn't show who the last updater of the discussion thread was, but instead showed the topic originator. That has now been fixed! Feel free to visit the front page and know that the last -posted - by is actually who last posted! :)
